Brrrrr, Flamingo Fans!

It’s getting cold in Halverston and area, the days are shorter and school is in full swing. There’s so much to do, and there’s never enough time to do it all!

I mean, it’s hard enough finishing your homework before Tae Kwon Do and still having enough time to watch your favourite TV show. Try saving kids in trouble on top of all of that! It’s stressful.

Just last week, Milo was trying to finish a geography assignment that was due the very next day, when Rutger had a kid-in-trouble emergency. And it’s not like Milo can say, “Sorry Rutger, I have to finish colouring in Greenland.” Nope, he has to go save the day, no matter how much homework he has.

What’s funny, though, was this: What was Rutger’s emergency? It was that he wasn’t finished his geography assignment that was due the very next day! The Captain wasn’t really sure how to deal with it because it’s not like he could do Rutger’s homework for him. That’s cheating! And superheroes don’t cheat.

So instead, Captain Flamingo and Rutger raced each other to finish their homework. And, since they’re both super-competitive, they both finished their assignments with enough time to watch a Quantum Vigilante rerun. Which was great! It didn’t teach Milo anything about time management, but it was really heroic!

P.S.: Chester says an elephant never forgets to colour in Greenland.
