Hi there, Flamingo Fans!

It’s almost time for summer! It’s almost time for summer! It’s almost time for summer! No homework! No tests! No teachers! Summer’s the best!

And Milo and I have tons of plans! We’re going to bike ride to the edge of the neighbourhood, we’re going to camp out and tell ghost stories in my backyard, and we’re going to make a time capsule!

Have you ever made a time capsule? You should try it if you haven’t. You and your best friend in the whole world get some sort of container—we’re using a Quantum Vigilante lunchbox—and fill it with things that carry a lot of meaning for you. Like letters from a pen pal, or a stuffed toy your Dad won for you at a carnival. Then you bury the container somewhere you’ll remember. And then, when you’re old, like 25, you get together with that best friend (no matter what) and open it up.

I can’t decide what’s meaningful enough to put in, but Milo says he’s already figured out what he’s gonna do. He said it’s a big surprise. (A surprise I’m going to have to wait, like, 15 years to see!)

I know! I just figured out what I’m going to put in there! I’m going to make a video of all of Captain Flamingo’s adventures! That way, when we’re all old and stuff, we’ll be able to watch it and remember all the fun we had! I better get started.

I’ll write more later!

Lizbeth

P.S.: Chester says you should try making a time capsule too!
