Happy New Year, Flamingo Fans!

Well, after a little holiday break and a lotta holiday candy, everyone’s favourite square-shaped boy is back in action! Whoo hoo!

It’s been a crazy couple of days on Overlea St. There have been some Warrior Monkey sightings, Dookie Doo’s been a slobber-factory, and Avi nearly wrecked Ruth Ann New Year’s Eve Party! LOL! I mean, uh, it was really… too bad. Ahem.

Here's what happened: Ruth Ann invited everyone over to her house for a party, but all she really wanted to do was show off all the new stuff she got for Christmas! And she wouldn’t let anyone play with any of it!!! That girl DOES NOT know how to share. So we were all really bored until Avi accidentally knocked over the Christmas tree which fell on top of all Ruth Ann’s cool new stuff and smashed it. To bits. And pieces.

So then, instead of bored, we were all a little scared -- Ruth Ann looked like she was about to lose it on Avi. I think I saw actual steam coming out of her ears! So, naturally, Milo went into Captain Flamingo mode and with the help of his birdbrain (uh… me) he convinced some guy—who looked a lot like Santa—to replace all the broken stuff! It was magical! Even though it was for Ruth Ann.

Sigh!  Superheroic, generous and magical.... is it any wonder I love my little square-shaped boy?
